GPU Panic returns with his new single ‘Flores’.

Since 2017's 'Sand Haze' EP he has been prolific, in his collaborations and when striking out on his own which most recently was on his previous single ‘Just Go’, signifying the first taster of his new upcoming EP of which ‘Flores’ becomes the second single taken from it.

The premise and subject matter of the track is simple. ‘Flores’ referring to flowers, and a simple act, one we can all relate to, that of giving them to someone you care about and not forgetting to show your love for them. Again, the artwork for ‘Flores’ created by Lourenço Providência follows in the footsteps of ‘Just Go’, once again choosing an encapsulated cube symbolizing a memory that can be visited over time.

With a pop edge and its up-tempo breaks, it is fittingly colourful. His second solo single since joining the Discotexas family, it comes hot off the back of his recent huge collaborations with Moullinex which started at the beginning of last year on ‘Luz’ and followed with ‘Running in the Dark’ which was backed with a remix from Seb Wildblood and supported far and wide especially in the UK with plays from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and Nemone on BBC 6Music. His piercing vocals ever present on both tracks as well as on ‘Inner Child’ and ‘BREAK/OUT/BREAK’ making him one of the most prominent vocalists on Moullinex’ most recent record 'Requiem for Empathy' and a lead vocalist when they take the album on the road later this year. With ‘Flores’, GPU Panic has created yet another uplifting track with all the hypnotic elements and catchy dance grooves that have become a hallmark of Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro’s (GPU Panic) work.

The growing support he has had so far only adds to his growing reputation, one which GPU Panic has begun to cultivate on his own terms with high profile mentions for his previous work appearing in print, in Mixmag, as well as online on such sites as the influential Tsugi (France), with his live show attracting attention and receiving glowing reviews from sites including Deep House Amsterdam, and leading Mixmag to hail it as "an utterly bewitching live act".

In the same way that ‘Just Go’ preceded a remix, that time from label mate Xinobi, so too does ‘Flores’ which anticipates a Tarsius Remix that will follow on June 18th. ‘Flores’ continues his brilliant recent output and sees him make a welcome return with more new music promised very soon.
