Hot on the heels of ‘Luz’, Moullinex returns with ‘Swim’, again collaborating with GPU Panic to euphoric effect, recorded and produced during quarantine.
Swim evokes the memory of water, the collective desire to escape by diving into this embracing medium.

“Recently I’ve found myself day-dreaming of water many times. Swimming in the ocean is something we took for granted, but became such a luxury these days. This song juxtaposes how we feel at peace when we hear the ocean or dive in its waters, and how sometimes it just feels like we’re swimming against the tide”, Moullinex says.

Moullinex further develops the melancholic overtone that we heard on ‘Luz’ with the pulsating beats and synths carrying GPU Panic’s smooth vocal, suspended in an infectious layer of nostalgia.

In the same breath Moullinex is also happy to announce his live return, taking to the stage of the Teatro São Luiz in Lisboa on July 17th.
